How are the students seated?

Each theatre is unique and very different from the other, as is the seating.

Magnuson Park Theatre
This is a large theatre with traditional raked theatre seating and an elevated stage. Classes are seated in groups according to age. We ask that chaperones and teachers to sit near the isle or behind another adult so that smaller children can see over their heads.

Sunset Hill Community Club
This theatre is on the second floor of a community center that looks like an old house. The stage is elevated and seating area is flat. All children are seated on the floor according to age with chaperone in chairs next to the seating area.

BYT-Crossroads Theatre
This modern new theatre has no elevated stage and movable raked seating. Groups are seated assigned section and about 1/3 of the seating is on the floor, which are the best seats for seeing the show close up. They are usually assigned to older children.
