From around the world, traditional festivals of light are celebrated with puppets, songs, stories, and dance. The show includes an original story about Pepito, a lonely cactus and a star named Estrella. Nationally recognized songwriter Sue Ennis has penned two songs. Pepito sings the mournful
“Cactus Lament” answered by Estrella singing the hopeful “Sing Sí, Sí with Me”.

Little Red Riding Hood

Little Red sets off to Grandmutter’s house with a basket of goodies and along the way meets a feisty squirrel, a sweet rabbit family and a wolf in sheep’s clothing!

Funny Woman Who Lost Her Dumpling

Funny Woman grabs her umbrella and leaps after a rice dumpling that bounces down into another world.  To save herself, the Funny Woman uses humor and her wits to adapt to changing situations.

In this delightful and hilarious adaptation of a Mexican folktale…Brother Coyote wants one thing and one thing only, to catch and eat one of Doña Conchita’s plump chickens.
